“Tombward Baku” recognized his guilt

In the Baku Court of Grave Crimes, the trial continues on the criminal case of the former head of the public service for the protection, development and restoration of cultural heritage under the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan Zakira Sultanova, who received the nicknamer “Mochingman of the Old Baku”.

According to his own correspondent HaqQin.az, the witnesses who reported their illness did not appear at the court session.

Judge asked Zakira Sultanova Is it worth waiting for the next meeting and calling witnesses or he wants to read their testimony.

In response, Zakir Sultanov said that he recognizes his guilt and leaves this issue for consideration by the court.

The next court session will be held on October 20.

For many years, HaqQin.az wrote about the corruption activities from Zultanov, in particular his monstrous role in the destruction of architectural buildings in Old Baku. Z. Sultanov, entering into collusion with high-ranking officials and heads of the executive authorities, brought out the architectural buildings under the protection of the state, unique buildings that were under the demolition and construction of new buildings.
