Tomorrow, August 9, the Joe Bayden Administration will announce new sanctions against Belarus, reports CNN.
The leader of the Belarusian opposition Svetlana Tikhanovskaya stated at a briefing with journalists in Washington, which during his meetings, she handed over to the Administration of Byyden, a specific list of companies against whose sanctions.
Tikhanovskaya called on the US administration to introduce more stringent sanctions, stating that the initial sanctions were “more symbolic and moral sanctions.”
Recall that Tikhanovskaya met with President Joe Biden, State Secretary of Anthony Blinkken, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan and Congress Legislators during their stay in the capital of the United States.
