On the evening before, Elvin Askerzade was killed in the village of Lokbatan, the Garadagskaya district prosecutor’s office said.
In accordance with the requirements of criminal procedure legislation, the prosecutor’s office with the participation of a forensic medical expert was inspected by the place of incident and the corpse, other procedural actions were made.
The preliminary investigation revealed reasonable suspicions that the wife of the victim of Babayev Sevda Rasimovna deliberately killed the latter, wounding the knife into the left breast during a quarrel that arose between them on the basis of personal relationships.
For this fact, the prosecutor’s office of the Garadagh district was initiated by a criminal case under Article 120.1 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code.
