Georgia and Azerbaijan continue to negotiate on the issue of resuming railway passenger traffic. This was stated in an interview with the Forbes magazine director of JSC “Georgian Railways” David Peradze.
According to Peradze, the exact date of the resumption of railway passenger transport will be announced later.
The movement of passenger trains Baku-Tbilisi has been suspended from March 14, 2020 due to COVID-19. In 2021, Georgia was only with Armenia resumed rail passenger transportation.
