In the bird reserve, Aras in the Tuzluja area in eastern Turkey continues to conduct studies related to bird migration. The work is carried out with the permission of the Main Directorate for the Protection of Nature and National Parks and the Kuzeydoğa Association. Scientists of the scientific-studying bird center “Aras”, bordered in the village of Yukara Chyrykly, carry out research work and the procedure for ringing of birds.

So, on February 27, the satellite sensor was attached to the field moon, one of the significant species of birds of prey living in the region.

After getting into the natural environment, the bird changed four countries per week, and in 170 days it reached the shores of the Arctic Ocean. Having spent some time on the banks of the Aras River, White Lun went on April 3 to Armenia, then on the same day to Georgia and reached Russia on April 4. In an interview with an anadol correspondent, the head of the station of the scientific and studying bird center Aras Denise Ereylmaz said that scientists will continue to conduct research in the autumn period.

“The Field Moon is one of the important species of predators, behind which we are observing using a satellite sensor. The bird, to which we connected the satellite sensor, reached the coast of the Arctic Ocean in 170 days,” he said.

According to Ereylmaz, the maximum height of the bird’s flight was 2,854 meters, and the speed was 77 km.
