In Sumgayt court in grave crimes, a preliminary meeting was held in the criminal case of the deputy Milli Majlis Eldaniz Salimov, reports haqqin.az.
On an open court hearing, chaired by the Judge of Hafiz Aliyev, media representatives were not allowed. Police officers reported that, as directed by the Chairman of the Court, journalists were prohibited access to the lighting of the process. Such a decision in law enforcement authorities explained with the coronavirus pandemic.
Recall, on July 29, a deputy of Milli Majlis Eldanis Salimov at the Old Dvor restaurant in Khachmaz applied violence against an employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The Prosecutor General’s Office opened a criminal case under Article 309.2 (Exceeding Official Powers) of the Criminal Code. Then parliament on the basis of the submission of the Prosecutor General’s Office deprived E. Salimov deputy inviolability.
By the decision of the Binagadine District Court against Eldaniz Salimov, a preventive measure was elected in the form of an arrest.
