The film TRT “Pot” received a reward at the Crystal Press International Film Festival, held in the Republic of Buryatia of the Russian Federation.
From May 12 to 17, in the capital of the Republic of Buryatia, Ulan-Ude was held by the International Crystal Press Film Festival.
as part of the festival, where children’s films from different countries were demonstrated, including the film “Pot” according to the script and production of Akhmet Toklu with the support of the Moscow Institute of Yunus Emre.
The film of the Turkish director, also supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, was recognized as worthy of the award of the festival in the section “Competition”.
The film “Pot”, the world premiere of which took place at the 51st Giffoni film festival, won many awards at domestic and international film festivals.
In the film, telling about the life of the poor children who installed the basketball ring in their area, the young actress Alp Akar, as well as Bahar Hajibektashoglu, Siber Melk Arat, Egemen Almaji, Merthdu, Mehmet Chalil Chelik, Samet Sevtekhn, Mirach Chelene, Merechu, Sybel, Miles, Sybl. The Moscow Coordinator of the Institute of Yunus Emre Mehmet Ulker participating in the festival, in his speech, noted the importance of presenting Turkish films to moviegoers at such international events.
“By the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic, it is planned to show 100 Turkish films in different cities and cinemas of Russia,” Ulker said.
