The choice of candidates by the US President Donaldam Trump for a number of positions in the Cabinet of Ministers without taking into account the results of inspections of the Federal Security Service (FBI) became the subject of criticism.
Trump continues to quickly voice the names of the candidates chosen by him to the new government, while some sources in an interview with CNN expressed their bewilderment with the fact that, when appointments to key posts, checks by the FBI.
Sources noted that in Washington circles there are persons who express concern about the attitude of Trump and his team to appointments to key posts.
According to sources, the Republican team worked with private security companies to investigate the safety issues of the appointed persons.
The publication claims that Trump and his team believe that the FBI system works slowly, which in turn leads to an empty waste of time.
It is also noted that Trump’s refusal to verify the FBI of candidates for posts in the administration contradicts the practice that has long been established in Washington and reflects his distrust of the institutions of national security, which he calls with irony the “deep state”.
In particular, criticism in connection with appointments to the new government intensified after Trump chose Matt Gaitts to the post of Minister of Justice and Tulsey Gabbard to the post of director of national intelligence.
So Gatez, one of Trump’s candidates for the post of minister, was previously under investigation of the Ethics Commission on the House of Representatives on charges of “sexual harassment” and “drug use”. In turn, Gabbard is criticized for her loyalty against Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of Syria Bashar al -Assad, who are considered enemies of the United States.
