Trump Called Putin To De-escalation In Russian-Ukrainian War

Donald Trump, elected by the 47th US President, held a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He called for de-escalation in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

According to The Washington Post with reference to sources familiar with the course of the conversation, November 7 after the election Trump and Putin held a telephone conversation.

Trump reminded Putin that “Washington has a significant military presence in Europe.”

The elected US President Trump called Putin to de-escalate tension in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

The Ukrainian leadership was informed about the telephone conversation.

Putin congratulated Trump on November 7 and said that he was ready to talk with him.

During the election campaign, Trump stated that he could stop the Russian-Ukrainian war “immediately.”
