Trump Included Cuba In List Of “states Supporting Terrorism”

US President Donald Trump signed a decree canceling the decision adopted by the Joe Biden administration and again included Cuba in the list of “states supporting terrorism”.

On the first day of his return to the performance of duties, Trump signed many presidential decrees.

According to the Belo House, one of the signed decrees provides for the cancellation of 78 decrees issued during the Biden administration. Among them is the decision to remove Cuba from the list of countries that support terrorism.

Cuban President Miguel Dias-Kangel, in his statement on the Platform X, condemned this decision, calling him “mockery and abuse.” He also emphasized that such actions confirm “the inaccuracy of lists and unilateral US pressure mechanisms.”

Recall that in 2015 the Barack Obama administration excluded Cuba from this list. However, in January 2021, Trump, in the last weeks of his presidential term, again added Cuba to the list where North Korea, Iran and Syria were already located.
