Trump Increased Duties For Goods From China To 125 Percent

US President Donald Trump raised duties for goods from China to 125 percent, simultaneously announcing the suspension for 90 days of additional tariffs for other trading partners.

President Trump published a message about duties on his page on the social network Truth Social.

Having stated that due to the “disrespect” of China to world markets, the USA increased tariffs introduced against China to 125 percent, this decision comes into force immediately. “I hope that in the near future China will understand that the era of operation of the United States and other countries is no longer stable and unacceptable.”

Trump wrote that more than 75 countries turned to him to find solutions on issues such as trade, trading barriers, tariffs, currency manipulation and non -notary tariffs, with official representatives of the US Department of Trade, the US Department of Finance and the US trading representative.

According to him, these countries did not take any response against the United States. The President noted that he approved the suspension of additional duties for 90 days and the use of the basic tariff rate of 10 percent during this period.

US President Trump announced the return tariff rates that will be applied to other countries on April 2, which he called “Liberation Day”.

The basic tariff rate is 10 percent. Trump also shared information on customs tax rates that vary depending on the country, taking into account tariffs and non -tariff barriers introduced by other countries.
