US President Donald Trump organized Iftar (conversation, evening meals during the Holy month of Ramazan) for representatives of the American Muslim community and diplomats from several Muslim countries. Iftar, organized in the White House, was the first for the second presidential term of Trump.
The head of state began to speech at the event with the wishes: “Happy Ramazan.” The American leader noted that he was very pleased with the support that Muslims in the United States provided him in the presidential election in November 2024.
Trump also said that representatives of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE, Katar, Lebanon, Pakistan and other countries are present at the event. “I want to express special gratitude to hundreds of thousands of Muslim Americans, who provided record support in the 2024 presidential elections. It was incredible,” the US president emphasized.
Trump assured that the White House administration is holding promises to the Muslim community. “We are conducting continuous diplomatic work to establish a long-term world in the Middle East, based on historical Abraham agreements,” the head of state said.
The Head of State expressed special gratitude to the Muslims living in the state of Michigan. “While I remain the president, I will be with you. I will support you. I want you to know this,” the president emphasized.
The American leader added that he is looking forward to the opportunity to cooperate with Muslims in order to achieve a brighter and more encouraging future.
