Trump Said China Abandoned Major Deal With Boeing

US President Donald Trump said that China “abandoned a major transaction with Boeing and will not accept the supply of aircraft.”

Trump made an appropriate statement on his account on the social network Truth Social.

He noted that American farmers are on the advanced “trade war” with China, and accused China of “cruel” attitude to farmers in the United States.

“It is interesting that [China] refused a major deal with Boeing, saying that he would not accept the supply of completely ordered aircraft,” Trump wrote.

Boeing shares fell 2.36% after reports that China instructed its airlines not to buy Boeing aircraft against the background of the ongoing tariff tension between the two countries.

– a trade confrontation between the United States and China

China was the first country to react to raising US tariffs, and answered with similar measures. As a result of the tariff confrontation between the two US countries increased customs duties for Chinese goods to 145%, and China on American up to 125%.

The Washington administration postponed the introduction of return tariffs for 90 days for other countries, but the tariffs against China entered into force.

Later Trump announced that some technological products, such as smartphones, laptops, hard drives, computer processors and chips, will be exempted from additional taxes.
