US President Donald Trump signed a decree on the creation of the National Council on Energy Dominance, which will be headed by the Minister of Internal Affairs Dag Burgum and Minister of Energy Chris Wright. The head of the White House reported this after signing the relevant decree in the Oval office.
“We have more energy resources than any other country, and now we release them,” Trump said.
The US President also announced the work on the project of the pipeline blocked by New York. According to the head of the White House, this project will lead to a decrease in energy prices.
In addition, Trump announced a ban on drilling wells on a shelf of 625 million acres of territorial waters of the country introduced during the reign of the previous US President Joe Bayden.
The purpose of creating the National Council for Energy Domination is the formation of US energy policy, reducing energy costs, establishing the country’s energy independence and ensuring energy domination.
