US President Donald Trump condemned the judicial verdict issued by the leader of the ultra -right of the French Party “National Association” Marine Le Pen. He stated this in the publication on the Truth Social platform.
The head of the White House described the verdict as “egregious case of political persecution.” The US President comparing the decision of the French court with “witch hunt”, and called for the immediate liberation of Le Pen.
Trump pointed out the similarity of the sentencing to the leader of the French party with trials against himself.
“Hunting for witches against Marin Le Pen is another example of how European left uses the law as a weapon to drown out freedom of speech and censor their political opponent, and this time it came to put the opponent in prison,” the American leader said.
I personally do not know Marin Le Pen, but I respect her stamina and perseverance with which she defended her beliefs for years. She experienced failures, but did not give up, and now, on the threshold of a possible triumph, they are trying to stop her, using a petty accusation, which she most likely did not even suspect – something like a mistake in financial documents, ”Trump added.
Trump called Le Pen’s sentence “shame for France and its wonderful people, regardless of whether they support the levy or not.” “Freedom Marin Le Pen!” – concluded the president.
The court in France found the leader of the Ultra Party “National Association” Marine Le Penies in the case of the non -targeted use of the European Parliament.
