Trump: United States Receive $ 2 Billion Day From Duties Introduced

The US Duties introduced by the country bring the country almost $ 2 billion daily. This was stated by US President Donald Trump in the White House.

Trump commented on the duties introduced on April 2, calling them “mutual trade agreements.”

According to him, these measures have proved their effectiveness.

“We have achieved excellent results, about $ 2 billion every day comes to us daily,” the president said.

The American leader also said that in connection with the new conditions, negotiations with foreign partners were activated.

“Now the Japanese delegation is flying to us to conclude a deal, South Korea also strives for an agreement, and other countries go along the same way,” he said.

The White House spokeswoman Caroline Lithute previously stated that almost 70 countries have addressed the duties to Trump with a proposal to start negotiations.

“States literally compete with each other in order to eliminate unfair trade practices and open their markets for the United States,” Levita emphasized.

Livitt also noted that Trump instructed to develop individual trade agreements with each country that expressed interest in cooperation with the United States.
