Trump Will Take Part In Funeral Of Pope Francis In Rome

US President Donald Trump will take part in the farewell ceremony with Pope Francis, who died on Monday, April 21. The head of the American state reported this in his social network Truth Social.

Trump confirmed that I will personally have a Pontiff’s memory by visiting the funeral in the framework of its first foreign trip in the second presidential term that began on January 20.

At the president’s ceremony, his wife Melania Trump will be accompanied. “Melania and I will go to the funeral of Pope Francis in Rome. We are looking forward to the opportunity to visit there!”, Trump wrote.

However, his phrase “we are looking forward to” caused criticism from users of social networks and a number of representatives of the Democratic Party, who considered the expression inappropriate in the context of a mourning event.

The death of the spiritual leader of the Catholics became known on Monday, April 21.
