In Tunisia, the General Secretary of the AN-Nahda Movement Al-Ajmy al-Evorimi was detained.
“Al-Baurmi, General Secretary of the A al-Nahda movement, together with his comrades was detained by security forces without any reason last night to Burj al-Amri,” the press service of the movement said.
The text says that party lawyers are making efforts to liberate the detainees.
The detention occurred, contrary to the fact that security forces confirmed the absence of accusations against al-priests, the press service noted. Tunisia authorities did not comment on messages.
The leader of the Anga Nahda movement, Rashid al-Ghannushi, was detained on April 17, 2023 and was subsequently arrested. The second year of the same year, the Secretary General of the movement was elected al-faith.
