Experts have started assessing the cost of design and construction of a gas hub in Turkey, Russian media reports.
“Work is underway, it requires evaluations for design, construction, marketing. The relevant departments carry out instructions of the presidents, the process of monitoring the leaders of the two countries,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
According to sources, the hub can be built in the Turkish region of Thrace.
“As already stated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a suitable place is Thrace (the European part of Turkey Ed.). It corresponds to the idea of the project. With the consent of the parties, this is the most acceptable option,” he said to reporters.
