Turkey announced “stagnation” in negotiations between Ukraine and Russia

Now in the negotiation process between Russia and Ukraine “there is stagnation.” Only the exchange of prisoners is discussed, and the conversations about the ceasefire have faded to the background. Such a statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu to the Turkish publication Sabah.

“In the Russian-Ukrainian negotiation process, stagnation is observed, Ukraine even stated that it stopped negotiations. The struggle on the ground was ongoing. Negotiations are underway on the exchange of Ukrainian soldiers captured by Russia, and Russian soldiers captured by Ukraine. Negotiations about the ceasefire left for the second Plan, ”said Chavushoglu.

The Turkish Minister also pointed out the problem of grain export, which is blocked in Ukrainian ports by the Russian fleet. According to Chavushoglu, now its export is impossible due to security reasons. However, the discussion of this issue continues.
