In February 2025, annual inflation in Turkey amounted to 39.05%, reaching the lowest level since July 2023. Such data are given by the Institute of Statistics of Turkey (Tüi̇k).
This is the ninth month in a row, when the growth rate of prices slows down and become minimal.
In January 2025, annual consumer inflation in Turkey amounted to 42.12%. Analysts surveyed by Anadolu agency on average expected an even more significant weakening of inflation in February – up to 40%.
In the monthly calculus, the consumer price index (IPC) increased by 2.27% compared with 5.03% in January.
Basic IPC grew by 1.80% in monthly calculus. This indicator is much lower than 5.59%growth recorded in January.
