The development process of the first Turkish unmanned combat aircraft Bayraktar Kizilelma continues in accordance with the planned schedule. In Turkey, the flight tests of Bayraktar Kizilelma, developed by Baykar with the involvement of domestic resources, continue.
According to the press release, Bayraktar Kizilelma successfully passed aerodynamic tests. The Bayraktar Kizilelma PT3 serial prototype, which took off from the AKıncı training center in the Teriirdag Charle area, completed a flight at an average height for 53 minutes. Within the framework of this flight, the necessary tests associated with the aerodynamic system were also successfully completed.
Thanks to the new powerful engine and the improvement in the aerodynamics of Bayraktar Kizilelma PT3 will be able to much better maneuver at high speeds and perform complex tasks.
Starting to the Bayraktar Kizilelma project was given in 2021. Bayraktar Kızılelma with the on-board TC-Ezb left the assembly line on November 14, 2022. He made his first flight in record time – December 14, 2022.
Bayraktar Kizilelma will become a platform that can revolutionize the battlefield due to its possibilities for taking off and landing with ships with a short runway. In particular, this applies to the landing ship of the TCG Anadolu project of the Turkish Navy.
