In Turkey, the development of a new drone, which destroys submarines, said in an interview with Turkish media, the Director General of the shipyard Ares – Duck Alanch during the IDEF-2021 exhibition in Istanbul.
The unmanned antiquity can be supplemented by other drone ships Ares, the first of which became UlaQ AUSV. “Our project of an unmanned anti-sidelum combat boat is completed. We do our best to present it in 2021,” Alanch said Duck in an interview with Anadolu.
According to the representative of Ares, the anti-submarine drone will be made in conjunction with Mateksan Defense. Ninety percent of the aggregates used in the production of drones were produced in Turkey – including weapons systems.
The representative of ARES noted that after the start of the mass production of the shipyard can produce up to fifty unmanned vehicles per year. Initially, products are designed for the needs of the Turkish security forces, but in the future it is planned to export drone.
UlaQ ULAQ drone has a range of autonomous sailing to 400 kilometers, and the maximum speed is 65 kilometers per hour. The ship received a surveillance system with a day and night channel, as well as an encrypted communication module.
Weapons UlaQ USV consists of a launcher with four CIRIT missiles, and two anti-tank missiles of a large L-UMTAS. The autonomous apparatus with remote control can be used for intelligence, convoy missions, and protection of strategic objects.
