The leadership of Turkey confirmed the readiness to resume a constructive partnership with the European Union in the areas of mutual interest. This was stated by the head of the European Commission of Ursula von der Layen at a press conference following the meeting in Ankara with Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan. “Turkey has demonstrated the desire for constructive dialogue and partnership with the EU,” said Dir Lyien and noted that in the near future the EC will present proposals for the development of cooperation in the field of economics, health, climate, migration and visa issues, and in the field of Compliance with human rights in Turkey.
