The National Intelligence Organization of Turkey (Mi̇t) during the operation in Mercin has captured the so-called administrative and financial coordinator Deash by Damascus Juseyf al-Muri.
According to information received from sources in security agencies, an operation was performed to detain Juseyf al Muri under the codov name Eyuup, who was engaged in coordination of financial assistance to the organization’s members in the conflict zones.
Muri was detained in Mersin as a result of the coordinated operation of Mi̇t and the main security department.
During the operation, 28 thousand 800 dollars, 14 thousand 950 euros, 31 thousand 800 lires and many digital materials belonging to the organization were seized, and mobile applications used by the Feash terrorist organization for money transfers were discovered.
Huseyf al-Muri provided detailed information about the process of joining the organization, his activities in Syria and Turkey, the members of the deash, with which he contacted the money transfers.
