In the State Museum of Art and Sculpture in Ankara, the official opening of the days of Kyrgyz cinema was held.
The event takes place as part of the Culture of Kyrgyzstan. The program was organized with the cooperation of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey, the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kyrgyz Embassy in Ankara.
The event was attended by First Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Timurlan Azhmaliev, CEO of the Department of Cinematography of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Erkin Yylmaz, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Ruslan Kazakbaev, Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (Turks) Sultan Raev, specially invited official guests, masters of culture and art of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
Opening the days of Kyrgyz cinema, Timurlan Azhmaliev congratulated the foundation of the Turkish Republic of the foundation of the Turkish Republic.
He noted that the people of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, despite the fact that they are located in two different regions, are always close and close to each other, they are brought together by general history and a rich culture.
Azhmaliev expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey to promote the organization of Kyrgyz cinema in Ankara and Antalya.
Ambassador Kazakbaev thanked the guests for participating in the event. He noted that it takes the year of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Kyrgyzstan and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic.
He called the symbolic fact that the star of Turkish cinema Turkish Shorai, who played the main role in the film, shot in Turkey based on the work of Genghis Aitmatov “My Red Kosynka”, became an honorary guest of the festival.
According to him, such events are indicators of historical, cultural, humanitarian and other connections between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
Erkin Yilmaz in his speech expressed the hope that the days of the culture of Kyrgyzstan will raise the relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey at an even higher level.
