In Turkey, work was completed to restore territories affected by large -scale forest fires of 2021, as evidenced by the last frames from the former disaster zone.
The head of the Main Directorate of the Turkish Forestry Bekir Karajabey, who oversaw the restoration of forests, said that no zoning or construction is allowed in any of the forest plots.
According to Anadolu, fires that broke out in the southwestern provinces of Turkey in 2021 covered an area of 139.5 thousand hectares. After fires in the regions, work was initiated to restore injured territories.
Restoring work was carried out according to the plan in accordance with the calendar schedule. Among them: restoration of soil for the natural reproduction of forests, preparation of seeds and other recovery measures.
Changes that have occurred in the affected regions over the past two years have also been reflected on the frames.
So it is clear on the frames that vegetation began to appear in burnt areas. It is expected that in the near future the region will gradually begin to “turn green.”
Karajabay informed Anadolu that great efforts were made to restore the affected forests. According to him, it is forbidden to build any objects in the territories burnt from the fire, and all the conversations that are held around is nothing more than a manipulation.
