In the city of Mersin, in the southeast of Turkey, the 6th International Mersinsky marathon started. The organizer of the competition was the municipality of Mersin.
The marathon is included in the World Association in the category “Elite sign”.
The marathon began with the square of Ozgedzhan Aslan Barysh and will end in the same place.
2172 athletes from 30 countries take part in the competition, including Turkey, the USA, Russia, China, the Netherlands and Kenya.
In the framework of the marathon, races will be held at a distance of 42 kilometers, 10 kilometers, as well as the competition open to the public.
