Turkey is developing ground and sea bayraktar

Turkish company Baykar, the armed unmanned aerial vehicles of which played a crucial role in the 44-day Patriotic War in Azerbaijan, will soon conduct tests of two new devices, which will expand the opportunities for land and naval operations, told the general director of the company Khaluk Baikraktar, reports Daily Sabah.

The new drone will be tested in the next two years and will be able to take off from the ship of the Naval Forces of Turkey, which is currently under production.

“As everyone says how the technology of unmanned aerial vehicles changes the fighting doctrines … One of our following goals is the TB3 unmanned aerial vehicle, capable of taking off and land on TCG Anadolu,” said Baiktar, meaning the Turkish under construction Easy aircraft carrier, which in 2022 will become the largest naval vessel in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Turkey.

New drone version, Bayraktar TB3 with a folding wing will be able to unfold with short naval runways.

According to Baiktara, due to the fact that some sections are in production stage, it is expected that the first test flight will be held in 2022. Behind him will follow the unmanned battle aircraft MUIS, the first flight of the prototype of which is scheduled for 2023. Currently, the MUIS design stage will be equipped with a reactive motor with a payload of up to 1.5 tons.
