Turkey will take part in the III European Games with a record in history of competitions by the number of athletes.
III European games will be held in Poland from June 21 to July 2. Turkey at competitions will be presented by 193 athletes – 103 women and 90 men.
The first European games were organized in the capital of Azerbaijan Baku in 2015. In that year, Turkey was introduced by 190 national athletes, including 81 women and 109 men.
The II European Games in Minsk in 2019 set off 110 Turkish athletes, including 44 women and 66 men.
This year, Turkey will take part in the III European Games with a record number of athletes in the history of competitions.
In total, 193 athletes will represent Turkey, who will compete in 19 categories: shooting, athletics, badminton, cycling, boxing, fencing, judo, rowing on canoe, karate, chipboard, kikboxing, table tennis, modern pentathlon, Thai Thai Boxing, archery, rugby-7, sports swimming, taekwondo and triathlon.
The victory in the competition will bring Kvot to the athletes to participate in the Olympics in Paris in 2024.
