Turkey plans to start gas production in Black Sea

Turkey intends to start using gas from deposits in the Black Sea in 2023. This was announced during the speech in Ankara, the President of the Republic of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, reports Prime.

He noted that efforts to exploration gas deposits in the Black and Mediterranean seas will be increased. “We are working to ensure that the Black Sea gas can be used already in 2023,” he added.

Note that in early June, Erdogan stated that Turkey found a new gas field in the Black Sea, which amounts to 135 billion cubic meters. According to him, the total volume of Natural gas reserved in the Black Sea of ​​Natural Gas reserves reached 540 billion cubic meters.
