Turkey President Left For Saudi Arabia

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for Saudi Arabia to participate in an extraordinary joint summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OII) and the League of the Arab states (LAG).

A private plane with the head of the Turkish state on board flew out of Turkey at 08.45 local time.

At the Esenbog International Airport, the Turkish leader was escorted by Vice President Jewdade Jilmaz, Governor Ankara Vasip Shahin, Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party Efan Ala and other authorized persons.

The Turkish delegation that has served in Saudi Arabia also includes the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayractar, the presidential adviser to the foreign policy and security issues Akif Chagatai Kylych, the head of the administration of the President Facharetin Altun, as well as the head of the national intelligence organization (Mi̇t) Ibrahim Kalyn.
