The Foreign Minister of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu rejected the accusations of Ukraine regarding the fact that Ankara acquired a “stolen” grain from Russia.
“We have seriously treated this kind of accusations and conducted an investigation. In fact, this is a fairly simple process, anyone can buy an application for $ 5-6 [for tracking ships. As a result of the investigation, we saw that the origin of [grain purchased from Russia] “Russia. But we also oppose the illegal sale of [stolen] Ukrainian goods in the international market and do not allow their sale in Turkey,” TASS quoted him.
Earlier, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Vasily Bodnar in an interview with Reuters said that “Turkey is one of the countries buying grain exported by Russia” from the territory of Ukraine.
