The authorities of Turkey nominated Sweden and Finland 10 conditions, the fulfillment of which can encourage Ankara to revise the attitude to the membership of the Scandinavian countries, the Yeni şafak newspaper reports.
According to the data, the package of demands was presented to representatives of Sweden and Finland during the negotiations held on May 25. In particular, both countries must declare the support of Turkey in counteracting terrorist organizations and adopting relevant legislative acts, close all organizations related to the PKK, their assets and media resources, and prevent their repeated opening. In addition, the Turkish authorities demand from Sweden and Finland the extradition of people associated with terrorists, the removal of the embargo on the products of the defense industry and suggest establishing cooperation between special services in matters of counteracting terrorism.
