The head of the Turkish defense industry, Ismail Demir on Friday said that his department has not yet been considering the issue of possible cooperation with Russia for the joint production of drones.
“I can’t say anything. There is nothing that would have been received on our agenda and what work would begin. This process is formed within the framework of Turkey’s policy. We will work on the technical aspect of the issue,” he said in an interview with Hurriyet newspaper .
Recall that earlier Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at a meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the ruling party said that Russia and the United Arab Emirates became interested in the production of Turkish drones of Bayraktar.
