Turkey is still negative about the plans for the entry of Sweden and Finland to NATO. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Chavushoglu after negotiations with his Czech colleague Jan Lipavsky, TASS reports.
“achieved membership in NATO [Sweden and Finland] support terrorism and introduce restrictions on Turkey,” said the minister who came to the Czech Republic on a visit.
The Czech Minister, in turn, said that the positions of Prague and Ankara are diverge on this issue.
“The entry of Sweden and Finland into the North Atlantic Alliance will strengthen the defense capability of the bloc and security in Central Europe,” Lipavsky explained.
