Sİper Product-2 testing, the national regional air defense and anti-detrainivity defense system of Turkey, which works in distributed architecture and plays an important role at the strategic level, has been successfully carried out.
According to the statement of the Office of the Turkish defense industry, the capabilities of the system were checked using the Fire Management Center, Data Transmission Channel, SIXPER Product-2 missile launching systems and missiles during firing tests conducted on September 12 at the Sinop testing center with the participation of representatives of the Office and Armed Forces.
As part of the phase contract from the regional air defense and missile defense system, a high-range missile defense system signed between SSB and ASELSAN-ROKETSAN-TUBİTAK SAGE on January 15, 2018, Sİper Product-2 testing, the National regional air defense system, was successfully completed. and Turkish large -range missile defense, which works in distributed architecture and plays a crucial role at the strategic level.

The head of the Turkish defense industry department, Haluk Görgun, said that the Sİper project, which is a holding back of the “steel dome” at a high -range and height, is aimed at giving strategic objects to ensure air defense at large -range and distributed architecture against enemy attacks in the framework of regional air defense.
According to him, the Sİper system will be able to hit air targets, such as fighters, cruise missiles and ammunition of the air-surface class, and studies will be conducted in later stages to get the opportunity to hit ballistic missiles.
