Turkey: two more new types of UAVs will arrive on combat duty soon

Turkish defense industry companies continue to work on models of new unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and two more new items have appeared as part of this initiative.

In the process of developing new UAV, Turkish companies take into account the demand for both domestic and abroad, current developments and wishes of users.

In an interview with Anadolu, Esen Director General Jam Ugur said that the company has been operating in the field of Avionic systems, global surveillance, radio reconnaissance, modifications of aircraft for 11 years.

At the same time, the general director drew attention to the system of unmanned aerial vehicles Gökhun.

According to him, there are 4-5 companies in the world that produce this type of drone in their class. The take -off mass of Gökhun is 110 kilograms, he said.

In turn, the ESEN UPEN Director Sukha Dincher said that the second development of Esen belongs to the category of mini-UAVs. “We have not yet given the name of this drone. We want to make this product equivalent to the famous Puma unmanned aerial vehicle system, only developed and manufactured in Turkey, ”said Dincher.
