In Turkey, we experienced a mini-rack of Rocketsan with laser guidance of METE. This is stated in the message of the press service of the company.
The ammunition was launched using the Gök Alp unmanned system, developed by Pavo Group.
According to the report, METE testing before the start of serial production reached the final stage.
Gök Alp unmanned system is capable of functioning in the most difficult conditions. It is designed in such a way that it is not exposed to combat factors. This effect is achieved due to the carrying capacity of 13 kg and the 35-minute Gök Alp operating time, as well as the advanced technologies that it is equipped with.
A mini-rack system with laser guidance of METE is able to start using a new generation of 40 mm grenade launchers. It has an effect exceeding the maximum range of existing ammunition for ordinary grenade launchers.
METE, which can be launched by one member of the grenade launcher personnel, is designed to embed mini-besting aircraft (UAV), unmanned ground vehicles (UAVs), unmanned marine vehicles and (IDA) of ground vehicles. It has lightweight and small size.
According to Alper Ozbilen, the chairman of the board of the Pavo group, the meta was successfully integrated into the system of unmanned aerial vehicles Gök ALP in accordance with the UAV concept.
“Gök Alp, the first platform used by the meta. Its distinctive features are both useful carrying capacity and the ability to remain inaccessible to shelling,” he said.
