The Turkish company Baykar Makina will begin supplying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) Bayraktar TB2 to Poland next month, said the General Director of the organization Khalyuk Bayractar, Anadolu reports.
According to him, there are changes in the development of Bayraktar TB2 for Poland, in addition, improvements are required. He noted that there are differences in the data transmission system and the payload of radars. Bayractar specified that under the contract, Poland will be able to receive comprehensive maintenance of drones.
Poland is a very large market, with high procurement potential and large investments in the defense and aerospace sector. Therefore, this is a very important market for Turkey, ”he emphasized. It is expected that deliveries will begin in October.
