The Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkey Suleiman Soil said on Saturday that the Turkish authorities reduce the quota for foreigners living in areas of cities from 25% to 20%. About this writes the newspaper Yeni Safak.
According to Soil, “at least 1,200 districts will be closed to live foreign citizens” due to exceeding the current quota.
At the same time, Soylyu did not report in which areas of which Turkish cities foreign citizens will no longer be able to live.
In February, Turkey first reported the introduction of a quota for the issuance of a residence permit to foreigners. According to local media, this was accepted due to the increased stream of Syrian refugees arriving in Turkey mainly from Damascus.
