Turkey’s parliament ratified Paris Agreement

The Great National Assembly of Turkey adopted a bill on the ratification of the Paris Climate Agreement on Wednesday, testify the results of the deputies’ voting.

The relevant bill was supported unanimously.

The Paris Climate Agreement is the first global climate agreement signed by more than 190 countries in December 2015, it defines the global action plan for global warming. The agreement does not imply complete refusal to fossil fuels. However, all parties should take measures to reduce emissions, technological re-equipment and adaptation to climate change. In addition, more and more energy supplies should be the proportion of renewable energy sources. Under Donald, the US Trump came out of the agreement, but the new American leader Joe Biden on the very first day of the presidency signed a decree on returning to it.
