The National Air carrier, the company “Turkish Airlines” (Thy) again headed the TOP-100 of the most expensive Turkish brands. This was reported by the Anadolu agency with reference to the Brand Finance International Analytical Agency, which made the rating of the most expensive Turkish brands for 2023.
The Turkish air carrier again led the rating of the most expensive brands of Turkey as in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. The market value of the brand is estimated at $ 2 billion. “Turkish Airlines” achieved success, increasing the cost of their brand by 26 percent compared to last year.
The second place in the list was taken by ARçelik, the cost of which is estimated at $ 1 billion 500 million.
Vestel brand is in third place with an indicator of $ 927 million.
Garati BBVA Bank has risen to 3 positions compared to last year and settled in 4th place with a cost of $ 767 million.
̇̇bank took 5th place in the list with $ 736 million, BIM-6th place from $ 589 million, Ziraat Bank-7th place from $ 560 million, Ford Otosan-8th place from $ 543 million , Turkcell – 9th place with $ 532 million and akbank – 10th place with $ 490 million.
This year, the list includes 3 new brands from different business areas: şölen, Ege Profil and Desa.
The highest increase in cost from the number of the 100 best brands was demonstrated by AKTIFBANK – 153 percent and Anadolu Isuzu – 101 percent.
At the same time, the largest decrease in the cost of the brand during the period under consideration was recorded in Aytemiz – 64 percent. This is followed by Anadolu Sigorta – 61 percent and BRISA – 56 percent.
In an interview with Anadol, the director of Brand Finance Türkiye, Mukhterem Ilguner, said that the total cost of the 100 most expensive Turkish brands is $ 15.6 billion, which practically approached last year’s indicator ($ 16 billion).
