The Turkish Antalya won the Award of eight developing Islamic countries (Islamic Eight, D -8) “Tourist City – 2025” and this was thus the first city to be awarded this title. This was announced on the social network by the Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersa.
Ersa noted that Antalya, one of the favorite tourist destinations in the world, was again at the peak of her success.

The Islamic Eight includes Türkiye, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria and Pakistan.
