Over the past week, during anti -terrorist operations, including in the north of Iraq and Syria, 59 militants are neutralized.
This was announced at the press conference by the Advisor to the press and public relations of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey of the convict Akturk.
He noted that the Turkish armed forces continue to fight all types of threats and dangers with increasing pressure in the framework of their defense and security strategy.
According to him, 59 terrorists have been neutralized over the past week, and 1151 terrorist was eliminated from January 1. Of these, 521 terrorist – in Iraq, 630 – in the north of Syria.
Akturk also said that one terrorist of the RSC, who escaped this week from shelters in the north of Iraq, surrendered at the border post in the Habur.
