The Turkish Armed Forces team took first and second places at the 8th contest “Best Sniper Teams in Europe”, held in Germany.
The statement of the Ministry of National Defense says that the 8th competition of the “Best Sniper Teams of Europe” was organized by the European and African command of the US A Ground Forces in the Hoenfels Training Center in Germany from August 4 to 12.
In addition to Turkey, the USA, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Canada, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg and Slovenia also took part.
In total, 36 teams from 19 countries took part in the competitions.
Turkey represented one team from the command of the Ground Forces and the command of special forces.
The department noted that the team of command of the Ground Forces completed the competition in the first place, and the command command team took second place.
