Turkish Army Neutralized Five Terrorists In North Of Iraq And Syria

Turkish Armed Forces neutralized five terrorists in the areas of operations in the north of Iraq and Syria. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey on Sunday, July 7.

The department noted that the Turkish Armed Forces continue to fight terrorism in the most decisive way.

The Armed Forces of Turkey neutralized two RSC terrorists in the Kandil region in the north of Iraq and three YPG militants (Syrian wing of the RSC) in the regions of the Euphrates Shield and Olive Branch in the north of Syria, the department said.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan previously stated that since 1984, when the militants of the RSC for the first time carried out a terrorist attack in Turkey, thousands of employees of Turkish security forces, military and civilians died at the hands of this bloody organization.

The United States and the European Union introduced RKK to the lists of terrorist organizations.

In recent years, the RSC seeks to shift responsibility for bloody crimes in the region to its branches.

In Syria, the RKK terrorists are covered by the names Pyd and YPG, and in the last two years they call themselves “Syrian democratic forces.”

In Iran, RSC acts as “Party of Free Life of Kurdistan” (pjak).
