Turkish athlete Kerem Kamal triumphantly completed the performance at the European Wrestling Championship, winning a gold medal in the weight category up to 63 kg in the Greco-Roman wrestling.
In the final match, which was held in the capital of Slovakia Bratislava, Kerem Kamal met on a carpet with a representative of Armenia Karen Aslanyan. The Turkish fighter confidently defeated the opponent with a score of 7-2.
This golden award became the second in his career for Kerem Kamal at the European Championships after his success in 2022. In addition, this highest sample medal was the first golden award for the Turkish national team at the European Wrestling Championship of 2025.
