Turkish athlete Havwanur Ketkhuda became the world champion among juniors, having won a gold medal at the tournament in Montenegro.
According to the Boxing Federation of Turkey, the competitions were held in the city of Budva. In the final of the weight category over 81 kg, Ketkhuda won over the representative of Uzbekistan gathering Shahobidinova, conquering gold.
Other Turkish athletes also showed high results: Pynar Benk (57 kg) and Yonjagul Yilmaz (70 kg) became the owners of silver medals, and Dilara Sak (75 kg), Sudenur Aslan (81 kg) and Alperen Yilmaz (71 kg) – Bronze.
Thus, Turkish young boxers completed the championship with six medals in a piggy bank.
