Turkish Company Successfully Completed Fire Tests Of Its New Development

In Turkey, the fire tests of the Göktan project developed by ASELSAN, which allows Tolun, launched from air platforms, have been successfully completed, strike the targets on the surface of the Earth.

According to the company’s statement, Aselsan added Göktan to its product range. On February 18, during the shooting of Göktan, the Asselsan Tolun ammunition struck the set targets with full accuracy.

The project also ensures the integration of a missile engine with TOLUN, fire control and control systems, as well as the operation of a mission planning system and shooting information. During the tests, Tolun was able to achieve a given goal by opening the wings after separation from the rocket engine.

Göktan, developed for the interception of critical goals independent of the platform, implemented as part of the main Aselsan contract in cooperation with Delta-V.

Göktan, which is able to centrally and independent use, attracts attention with the ability to fire 360 ​​degrees without the need to maneuver the platform. Göktan can conduct inclined fire, has the functions of multiple defeat and consistent shooting.
